Who is responsible
Prediction Sonar is operated by Shear Properties LLC (Indiana, USA), which controls the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Email address, to sign you in.
- Survey answers and settings (topics, leagues, teams, city, venues), to set up your map.
- Venue read-only keys, only if you connect a venue. Stored encrypted.
- Usage logs: sign-ins, changes to settings, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, for security and to stop abuse.
- Billing, only if you become a founding member or subscribe: your plan and subscription status. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and kept by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Why
To run the service: sign-in, your settings, showing your own venue data if you connect, keeping accounts safe, and improving the product from totals across all users (never sold, never shown as yours).
We do not sell your personal data.
Who helps us run it
A hosting provider (servers and database), an email provider (sign-in links), and Stripe (payments: your email and card, for founding members and subscribers). They process data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
While your account exists. Unused sign-in links are removed within a few days. Delete your account in Settings and everything is removed: your email, answers, settings, venue keys and your log entries.
Children
Prediction Sonar is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn we have, we delete it.
