Who we are
Prediction Sonar is operated by Shear Properties LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Shear Properties LLC.
What Prediction Sonar is
Prediction Sonar is an information organization service. It gathers and displays publicly available prediction-market information and, if you choose to connect an account, your own account data from that venue.
It is not gambling, betting, investment or financial advice. It is not a broker, exchange or market maker, and it does not place trades for you. Nothing shown is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to use Prediction Sonar. Venues set their own age rules (18+ or 21+ as the venue requires). You are responsible for following the laws where you live and each venue's rules.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time email link. Keep your email account secure. You can delete your Prediction Sonar account at any time in Settings; that removes your data and any venue keys.
Connected venue accounts
If you connect a venue, you give us a read-only key. We store it encrypted, use it only to read your account data for display, never trade with it, and delete it when you disconnect or delete your account.
Founding members (pre-order) and Pro
Before Prediction Sonar launches you can become a founding member of Pro:
- No charge until launch. You save a card with our payment processor, Stripe. Nothing is charged until Prediction Sonar launches. At launch your first month is charged and your Pro subscription starts.
- Price lock. $1.99 a month for your first 12 months of Pro (the regular $4.99 a month with a $3.00 founding member discount), then $4.99 a month.
- Cancel anytime. Before launch: remove your founding member spot in Settings and your saved card is removed. After launch: cancel in Settings (Manage billing); Pro stays until the end of the month you paid for.
- Refunds follow Stripe's processing and our standard policy: contact us and we will consider any charge made in error. (Draft: refund terms pending legal review.)
- If launch is late. If Prediction Sonar has not launched by June 30, 2027, we will remove your saved card on request, and you can remove it yourself at any time in Settings.
Pro after launch is $4.99 a month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and renews until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars.
Third-party data
Market and venue data belongs to its owners. It may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and may stop being available at any time. We do not guarantee that any venue, market or feature will be available.
No warranty
Prediction Sonar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any trading or betting loss, arising from your use of Prediction Sonar. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Draft: dispute and venue terms pending legal review.)
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
